THE SQUAD DOES AN INTRO: GROUP MEET UP

The Green's binding spell finally works out its kinks and the entire group is teleported into the same area in the center of the city, near the statues of the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow.

Everyone in the group feels a tingling sensation as the magic sets in place and binds them. Anyone that tries to leave will now find themselves being teleported back if they wander too far. The group will have to try to stay together when it moves now.

They have a little bit of time to figure things out.

You said you were taken from your school when you introduced your self, right? Do you ever have to deal with this stuff where you come from or this kind of weird all new?

[ Because even civilians in his world were at least sort of use to this kind of crap happening to them or around them. Unless they were lucky enough to live somewhere supervillains didn't care about attacking. ]

Ahaha, we didn't have to deal with anything like this. Definitely no teleportation or being whisked away to another world to save it.

I don't have anything like that on me. But now that I think about it...

The voices I heard [Monika that's never a good combination of words] did say something about being given the power to help.

I just haven't really taken the time to figure out what that power might be.

Well, whatever it is, I hope it's better than what they did for me. They took my powers away.

I'm a speedster. So I'm like the Flash but faster and less of a raging nass head.

[ There might just be some lingering harsh feeling between him and the current Flash. ]

Do you have Superheroes where you come from?

[ The idea of a universe without superheroes sounded both fascinating and incredibly boring at the same time, to someone who came from a place where they were so prevalent. How did a world like that even function? ]

So what was the club you said you run?

I was president of the Literature Club! It was a small group, but it was fun and we were all friends.

We'd recently taken an interest in poetry, so we began writing our own poems and started sharing them with each other.

[ He looks a bit visibly disappointed that her club turned out to be about Literature. It's unclear what he was expecting but apparently wasn't that. ]

Literature?...So it's just like an afterschool English class?

Well, we did speak and write in English. But it was more exciting than that!

We were all going to recite poems for the school festival, even.
