Ugh, this guy. Waver's ready to go in for...not the kill, but for the thrill of the argument, but the guy's actually providing some practical information and that's hard to actually argue against. Or prod holes in. Or do anything else, all things considering.

"Got it," Waver mutters. His shoes better dry out, otherwise there's going to be a huge (and disgusting) problem in the days ahead. "Thanks."

It also means he misses the implication that water isn't the only other normal option available to this...whoever he is. "I guess there's no soap or anything around, huh?"
