The grid spins and draws the glowing bubble into it, then leeches off the magic holding the pixie. The force of the building spell knocks the pixie away.]
Fortunately, even though magic tends to violate the natural laws, it often has an internal coherency, so it's just a matter of learning the rules.

[The spells get entirely absorbed into the grid, and then Brainy takes the grid into his hand. Extending his hand causes the spell to activate. Tendrils of the telekinetic energy from Sirius' spell grab an entire group of pixies and then the golden sphere of Robbie's spell wraps around them.]
[Brainy smashes that sphere against some of the wreckage of the Emerald City, rattling the pixies inside and causing debris to block off a path that a new group of Wheelers was using to approach. Then with a flick of his hand, the sphere is launched into the air where it'll land ooooh maybe a few miles away. Eventually the spell will wear off and they'll be freed but for now some of the pixies are out of their hair.]
Hmm. [He looks at his own hand and tilts his head slightly.] That was irritatingly useful.
