THE SQUAD DOES AN INTRO: GROUP MEET UP - [modplot] [event] [free-for-all]

THE SQUAD DOES AN INTRO: GROUP MEET UP
The Green's binding spell finally works out its kinks and the entire group is teleported into the same area in the center of the city, near the statues of the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, and Scarecrow.
Everyone in the group feels a tingling sensation as the magic sets in place and binds them. Anyone that tries to leave will now find themselves being teleported back if they wander too far. The group will have to try to stay together when it moves now.
They have a little bit of time to figure things out.
✦ Post in actionspam format. Plots and mod-run events in the game are meant to be in actionspam format to keep a brisk pace.
✦ Free-for-all Post. This event will be in "free-for-all" format, meaning that threadhopping is encouraged and that threading should be treated in the same conversational way as network posts.
✦ By now, the language magic should be fully in place. By now, everyone should have magically learned Sylvaen so that everyone can speak it fluently and understand each other.

[While he starts off looking extremely put out, the expression fades as he gets to work. Working Brainy is a very different person than salty Brainy, and when he's concentrating, he can't really prevent the concern from coming through on his face.]
[And yes, there's concern even for someone like Dixon.]
Sit down on the ground.
[That way he can work more easily. Brainy kneels down and opens up his medkit, spreading out some of his supplies on a little mat. While some of them look a little alien, nothing about them looks particularly sinister. Even the tools look no more intimidating that one of those digital ear thermometers. Some of it is even familiar: alien bandages are still ultimately bandages.]

He does as told, metaphorically placing himself wholly in Brainy's hands. It's not that Dixon's a trusting person at all, it's more just that he's been manhandled by doctors and his mother since getting the burns a few weeks ago and then another round again after getting his face beat to hell, and doesn't have any fight left in him around that particular issue. He just wants a little relief.
And, truth be told, little kindnesses like this are not going unnoticed by Dixon anymore. If anything, he's started looking for them, holding onto them, taking acts of generosity and gentleness like lifelines and nooses, saving in their ability to restore some faith in things, murderous in his ability to feel unworthy of them. He wasn't expecting to find it in Brainy but he takes it to heart that he does.]
Are these alien technology that'll zap the skin back together or something? [He just had a conversation with Revan where she said she was from a world in the year 20,000 something, so God only knows what the guy who looks like an evident alien is packing.]

[He break open two little capsules of...something and mixes them together in a little container. The liquids started off clear, but turn blue when mixed.]
That is to say that devices like my dermal re-generator are nonfunctional.
No 'zapping' for you. I'll have to resort to more primitive methods of wound care.
[He squirts the blue mixture over the burns, dabbing at the excess with a piece of gauze-like material so it doesn't drip all over Dixon's clothes. The liquid stings a little but no worse than clean water would, and afterward, the wounds feel cleaner and slightly soothed, like they've been properly washed out.]

[He winces at the touch to the burns, but doesn't recoil back. He's had a while to get used to the temporary stings of cleaning these suckers out. He tilts his head so Brainy can get his neck and rolls up his sleeve on his right arm so Brainy can get the burns from hand to forearm.]
Damn. [Could have used the zapper.] I'm' guess everyone else here's on the same boat with the technology, or someone would have at least GPSed where we are.
