[ It's not like he's going to leave this kid alone out here, that would be wrong. ]
I'm Simmons.
[ Not Private Simmons, not Captain Simmons, just... Simmons. A guy who's not in a space army anymore. It's weird to say it, like something's missing.
He's thinking about that as he starts off through the scattered statues, trying to convince himself he knows what he's doing.
