We've seen a lot of stuff like that, because of magic from different worlds blending together when new parts of worlds are added to the Wilderlands.
Like we're talking trousers on head, down is up, up is down craziness sometimes.
It's gotten
weird.
So who knows if that affected her somehow - or affected how much ground her freaky bond covers.
