[Kal can easily tell it’s a lie, but he gets the feeling Dixon knows he wasn’t all that convincing and he decides not to push it or pressure him. These are not easy topics to talk about, and if Dixon came to Kal about it then he’s going to take it seriously and give the best advice he can. He gives him a little smile as he goes on, and kind of has the urge to squeeze his shoulder as reassurance but he isn’t sure if that would be welcome.]
